Background: having worked for 25 years until 2000 as a Registered General Nurse, including five years in a chemical dependency unit, my background is in the caring professions. I have also trained and worked for the Samaritans. For over four years I worked with the Princess Royal Trust for Carers in Hampshire as a counsellor. I have also given talks for the Trust on relevant topics to an audience including carers, those cared for and professionals interested in understanding and managing emotions. Now a significant part of my time is given to providing private therapy sessions.

CPCAB Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
This level of counsellor training qualifies me to work with a wide variety and depth of issues.
I have also been a tutor, training counsellors on CPCAB accredited courses run by Sweet Track Counselling in Glastonbury leading to CPCAB qualifications.
I am a registered therapist with Sweet Track Counselling Services.
I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and work within their code of ethics.
